# Refer and earn

> Invite companies you know to Solk; they get a first-year discount and you earn invoice credit.

Every user has a personal referral link: **Account menu → Refer and earn** (or **Settings → Refer and earn**).

## How it works

### Share your link

Copy the link on the page (`https://solk.app/?r=<your code>`) or send the ready-made message by email, WhatsApp or LinkedIn.

### The invited company requests a demo

The company that opens the link sees your invitation on solk.app and fills in the demo form. The request reaches Solk with your code.

### Discount and credit

When the company becomes a customer, its first invoices are discounted (default: 10% for the first 12 months). Once it has paid the set number of invoices (default: 3), invoice credit is added to your workspace (default: €100) and **deducted from your next invoice**.

The **Your referrals** list at the bottom of the page shows each request's status (*New request*, *In conversation*, *Became a customer*) and the credit earned.

Rates and the credit amount are set by Solk; the referral page always shows the current terms. If the credit exceeds an invoice's subtotal, the remainder carries over to the next invoice. Credit applied to a cancelled invoice is returned.
