# Industry package

> Presets for chemicals / manufacturing, product trading, logistics and services — units of measure, how quote and deal value is calculated (monthly × 12 or one-off), reorder timing on Today, periodic maintenance of sold products and recommended workflows.

A chemicals producer supplying every month and a trading company taking one-off orders don't work with the same numbers: one looks at an annual value of monthly quantity × price × 12, the other at the quote total; one uses kilograms, the other pieces and sets. **Settings → Company → Industry package** (admins) sets this up in one choice.

## Packages {#packages}

| Package | Quote and deal value | Units | Also |
|---|---|---|---|
| **Chemicals / manufacturing** | monthly quantity × unit price × 12 | kg · l · ton | samples and trials, line-based deals |
| **Product trading** | quantity × unit price (one-off) | piece · set · kit · box · carton · pack | *Purchase potential* on the company card, reorder timing on Today, price lists |
| **Logistics** | monthly trips / containers × unit price × 12 | trip · container · volumetric weight · pallet · ton · kg | *Freight potential*, route and tender deals |
| **Services / consulting** | monthly fee × 12 | service · hour · day | *Service potential*, quarterly reviews |

**Apply this package** turns on the units and sets value calculation and recommendations. Optionally it switches the default unit to the package's and turns off a module the package doesn't use (e.g. Trials for trading). The package **never deletes or changes existing records**. Without a package, the installation runs with the chemicals / manufacturing defaults.

If an industry was chosen for your company in the Solk panel, it is applied automatically at setup; when it's changed in the panel later, the installation picks it up immediately. A package chosen by an admin in the installation stays in effect until a new choice is made in the panel.

## Quote and deal value {#value}

In **Fine-tuning**, value calculation can be set separately:

- **Monthly × 12** — recurring supply. Quote quantities are monthly; the deal's *Estimated Annual Value* = quantity × price × 12.
- **One-off** — trading. Quantity is the order quantity; the deal's value is the quote total (quantity × price, optional lines excluded). The quote builder, quote PDF, deal page and dashboards say *quantity* and *amount* instead of *monthly* / *annual*.

When the mode changes, open deals are recalculated; closed deals and past reports don't change. In MCP quote rows, `value_mode` (`monthly` · `once`) tells which calculation is used.

## Reorder timing {#reorder}

When enabled, **Today** shows a *Reorder timing* section: companies that ordered on at least 3 different days and whose turn — by their own average order interval — has come or comes within 7 days. Sales reps see only their own companies; a company drops off once a new quote is made after its last order.

**Prepare quote** opens a draft quote with the lines of the last order. Price order: the company's contracted price → [price list](/guides/price-lists) → last order price → the product's list price. The quote goes to the company's open sales deal, or to a new *Reorder* deal.

## Periodic maintenance of sold products {#maintenance}

A workflow tracks maintenance of the machines, devices or parts you sell: **Automation → Workflows → New workflow → Periodic maintenance of sold products** (Maintenance and spare parts). In the trigger, choose the product or product group, how many days after the sale the first service is, the repeat interval and the total number of services — e.g. *180 days after the sale, then every 180 days, 4 times in total*. Each order line is tracked separately; task titles can use `{ürün}`, `{miktar}` and `{bakım}` (service number). Details: [Periodic triggers](/guides/workflows#periodic).

## Recommended workflows {#workflows}

At the bottom of the page, workflows that fit the selected package come with an **Install** button (e.g. for trading: reorder timing, post-order satisfaction, maintenance of sold products, overdue balance). Workflows are installed switched off; review them and turn them on. Industry presets for deal, ticket and Quick Entry forms are in [Forms](/guides/forms).

## Workspace name {#workspace-name}

The workspace name at the top left, and the company name in emails and quote PDFs, comes from the customer name in the Solk panel. When the name changes in the panel (e.g. a spelling fix), the installation updates immediately; if it can't be reached at that moment, with the next daily report. Admins can change the company name, the app name (browser tab and notification emails) and the logo (PNG, JPG or WEBP, up to 2 MB; a wide logo is scaled to 1200×400) themselves under **Settings › General › Company name and logo**. A name or logo set by the company isn't overwritten when the panel sends the same value again; if the panel's name or logo actually changes, the latest change wins. Leaving the name empty returns to the panel's name.
